Digital communication strategist and independent consultant Dino Baskovic is a digital communication strategist and independent consultant with nearly 20 years of expertise elevating brands in the online space. A technologist at work and play, Dino has counseled Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and nonprofit agencies, nationally and globally, on successful digital trends and techniques. Jillian Frazier
Director of Development & Community Services - Lifebanc Jillian leads a team at Lifebanc to build partnership for investment in the organizational mission, increasing or the number of individuals joining the Ohio Donor Registry and increasing overall visibility of the mission of Lifebanc, the northeast Ohio, nonprofit organization working to save and heal lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. Vivian von Gruenigen, M.D.
Physician, Summa Physicians Inc. Vivian von Gruenigen, M.D., a physician with Summa Physicians Inc. (Summa), and is a recognized expert in gynecologic oncology. She serves as Summa Health System’s endowed chair of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Summa Akron City and Summa St. Thomas Hospitals and System Medical Director of the Women’s Health Institute. Also, Dr. von Gruenigen is a professor at Northeastern Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), college of medicine, department of obstetrics and gynecology. Prior to her position at Summa and NEOMED, Dr. von Gruenigen was director of robotic surgery at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and associate professor, department of reproductive biology at the Case School of Medicine. Over her career, she has authored over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts along with being an editorial board member of Gynecologic Oncology. As a principal investigator, her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG), Lance Armstrong Foundation, American Cancer Society, and Summa Foundation. When she isn’t working with patients or writing manuscripts and grants, Dr. von Gruenigen serves as a board member for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Excellence Foundation, Summa Health System’s Accountable Care Organization and the Summa Health System’s Board. You can also find her being recognized for her passion of “quality healthcare for all women” by her most notable accomplishments such as: being named one of the “Best Doctors in America” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America, one of “America’s Top Oncologists” by Cleveland Magazine, and the first national recipient of the Richard Ireland Award for Innovation and Excellence in the Business of Women’s Health. Digital strategist, True Digital Communications Depending on who you ask, Pam is either a technical person who speaks marketing or a marketing person who speaks ‘geek’. It’s a combination of strengths that has served her well in her 15-year career in ad agencies and interactive shops, where she has worked with clients in the building products, manufacturing and non-profit sectors. At True, she puts those strengths to work developing digital strategies, SEO/SEM programs and measurement tactics to analyze everything from search engine rankings and social media engagement to website conversion for our clients. Mark W. Smith
Editor for mobile web, The Washington Post Mark W. Smith is the editor for mobile web at The Washington Post. At the Post, he leads the strategy for mobile web growth. Prior to coming to the Post, Mark was the senior manager for social media marketing at USA TODAY. At USA TODAY, he shaped the overall social strategy. Mark has also worked at the Detroit Free Press, where he was the assistant editor for digital media and built the newspaper’s social platforms. In Detroit, he was also the paper’s technology columnist and covered consumer technology and the social Web. His technology writing has appeared in USA TODAY, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and dozens of other U.S. newspapers. Mark teaches journalism at the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill School of Journalism. He has also developed and taught a social media course for journalists and marketers at Central Michigan University and a Web journalism course at Washtenaw Community College. In 2010, Mark was honored as the Young Journalist of the Year by the Central Michigan University Journalism Hall of Fame. Cindi Szymanski
Manager, Brand Communications, Playhouse Square As the manager of brand communications at Playhouse Square, Cindi is responsible for institutional branding, crisis communications, marketing and public relations at the not-for-profit performing arts center. She has led Playhouse Square’s communications efforts for special projects such as the Idea Center, Allen Theatre Complex and Dazzle the District. Before joining Playhouse Square in 2004, Cindi managed the communications for a small literacy-focused non-profit organization and prior to that, handled sponsorship fulfillment and creative services for a minor league hockey team. Monina Wagner is responsible for the day-to-day execution of social media content for the Content Marketing Institute, including content creation (drafting posts for multiple social platforms), social media marketing (creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through online properties), and social media strategy (creating and aligning social plans with the organization's marketing plans). Mo spent more than a decade in broadcast news prior to working in PR. Since then, she has worked with companies like the Cleveland Clinic, Disney, Nestle and Sherwin Williams.
